British Weather Photographer Of The Year Competition

Lloyds TSB are running a competition this summer in order to find the best "British Weather Photographer of the Year". The competition (entry is free) runs until September 30th 2010 so you'd better be quick.

Capture a dazzling weather scene and be in with the chance of winning £100 for the weekly prize and £10,000 grand prize for the overall winner.

Hot lazy days maybe few and far in-between, but an English summer still offers plenty of chances to capture a glimmering horizon or glittering scenes of summer rain. To enter the competition, participants must submit their photos capturing British weather to the website. The overall winner will be picked on the basis of flair, technique and originality. The entries will be judged by a leading panel of meteorologists and photographers.

With British weather being what it is, make sure you take your camera with you wherever you go. So get out there in the rain or sunshine (?!), at dawn or dusk, and make sure your composition and exposure is spot on. Sunshine, lightning, blustering winds, storm swept shores and landscapes, dramatic skyscapes, unusual cloud formations, rainbow, etc...

You will find my entry showing London Skyline : Dawn and Early Evening category
Just a small appeal, please vote for my entry !

Have a look at entries submitted so far to see what you're up against at : http://www.lloydstsbweathercompetition.co.uk/category/

You must be a UK resident in order to take part in this campaign.
Full terms and conditions are

Good luck to all of you!
